Dashboard

Your personalized command center for daily career momentum, helping you focus on what matters most.

Introduction

The Dashboard is your daily starting point in olllo, designed to answer two critical questions within seconds:

  1. “What should I do next?” - The Focus section shows your upcoming activities and milestones
  2. “How am I progressing?” - The Progress section displays your goals at a glance

The dashboard follows a “daily-hero” approach, optimized for quick morning check-ins and keeping you on track throughout the day.

Dashboard Sections

The dashboard displays three main sections, each serving a distinct purpose:

Focus Section

The Focus section shows your upcoming activities and milestones organized by time urgency:

  • Overdue - Items past their due date (always expanded, highlighted in red)
  • Today - Items due today (expanded by default)
  • This Week - Items due in the next 7 days
  • Next 14 Days - Items due in the next 14 days (collapsed on mobile)

Each Focus item displays:

  • Title - What you need to do
  • Type Badge - Whether it’s an Activity or Milestone
  • Linked Goal - Which goal this contributes to (if any)
  • Due Date - When it needs to be completed
  • Status Indicators - Visual cues for overdue or due-today items

Progress Section

The Progress section provides an at-a-glance view of your career goals with visual progress indicators.

Each goal card shows:

  • Goal Name - Your goal statement
  • Progress Ring - Visual progress indicator (0-100%)
  • Timeframe - Time remaining or target date
  • Next Milestone - The upcoming milestone date (if any)
  • Pinned Indicator - Star icon for pinned goals

Wins Section

The Wins section showcases your recent accomplishments from the past 30 days.

Accomplishments appear with status badges:

  • Draft (yellow) - Quick captures that haven’t been refined yet
  • Refined (green) - Fully documented STAR stories

Understanding Focus Sorting

Items in Focus are sorted by urgency and priority:

  1. Time Group - Overdue > Today > This Week > Next 14 Days
  2. Due Date - Earliest date first within each group
  3. Pinned Goals - Items linked to pinned goals appear before others with the same due date
  4. Item Type - Milestones before activities (for items with same date and goal)

This sorting ensures you always see your most urgent and important items first.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often does the dashboard update?

The dashboard fetches fresh data each time you load it. Activities you complete or reschedule update immediately without needing to refresh.

Why is my overdue item still showing?

Overdue status is calculated based on your local timezone at midnight. Items remain in the Overdue group until you mark them done, reschedule them, or they are no longer relevant.

Can I customize which sections appear?

Yes, through the Edit Dashboard mode. You can reorder sections and hide the Wins section. However, you cannot hide both Focus and Progress.

What’s the difference between Execute and Progress presets?

  • Execute: Optimized for daily task completion. Focus section is prominent with all time groups visible. Best for users who want to work through their to-do list.
  • Progress: Optimized for goal tracking. Progress section is dominant, showing more goal details. Focus is condensed to Overdue and Today only.

Why can’t I see items more than 14 days out?

The Focus section uses a 14-day window to keep you focused on near-term priorities. For longer-term planning, visit the Activities page or individual goal detail pages.

How do pinned goals affect my dashboard?

Pinned goals appear at the top of the Progress section. Additionally, when sorting Focus items, those linked to pinned goals are prioritized over items from non-pinned goals with the same due date.

What happens if a section fails to load?

The dashboard handles partial failures gracefully. If one section encounters an error, the other sections continue to load and display normally. The failed section shows an error message with a retry option.
