General Questions
How much does olllo cost?
olllo offers a Starter plan with two billing options:

Annual billing saves you 20% ($24/year).
Is there a free trial?
Yes! New users receive a free trial period to explore all features before subscribing.
- Beta users: 60-day free trial
- Post-beta users: Trial period may vary
During your trial, you have full access to all features with no limitations.
Do I need a credit card to start the trial?
No credit card is required to start your free trial. You can explore olllo fully before deciding to subscribe.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept:
- Credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover
- Debit cards: Most major debit cards with Visa/Mastercard logos
We use Stripe to securely process all payments. Your card information is never stored on our servers.
Billing & Charges
When will I be charged?
You’ll be charged:
- At the end of your free trial (if you’ve added a payment method)
- On your billing date each month/year going forward
Can I change my billing cycle?
Yes! You can switch between monthly and annual billing at any time.
- Monthly to Annual: Prorated credit applied, annual billing starts immediately
- Annual to Monthly: Change takes effect at your next renewal
Will I be charged if I cancel?
No. When you cancel:
- You’re not charged for the current period
- Your access continues until the end of your paid period
- No partial refunds are provided
How do I get a receipt or invoice?
- Go to Settings > Subscription
- Click Manage Subscription
- Select Billing history or Invoices
- Download any invoice as PDF
Invoices are also emailed to you automatically after each payment.
Beta Pricing
What is beta pricing?
Early supporters who joined during our beta period receive special pricing:
- 60-day free trial instead of standard trial
- 50% off for 12 months after trial ends
- Price lock as long as subscription is maintained
Am I eligible for beta pricing?
You’re eligible if:
- You signed up during the beta period
- You received a beta invite
- You used a referral link from a beta user
Check your Settings > Subscription page to see if beta pricing is applied.
What happens after 12 months of beta pricing?
After your 12 months of 50% off:
- Your subscription automatically continues at the full price
- You’ll be notified before the change
- You can cancel or change plans at any time
Can I get beta pricing if I canceled?
No. If you cancel your subscription during the beta period, you forfeit beta pricing. Returning users pay full price.
Cancellation & Refunds
How do I cancel my subscription?
- Go to Settings > Subscription
- Click Manage Subscription
- Click Cancel subscription
- Confirm your cancellation
What happens when I cancel?
When you cancel:

Can I get a refund?
We don’t offer refunds for:
- Partial billing periods
- Unused trial days
- Annual subscriptions partially used
Exceptions: If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@olllo.com.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data is preserved when you cancel:
- Accomplishments, goals, and reflections remain saved
- You can export your data before canceling
- If you resubscribe, everything is still there
We retain canceled account data for 90 days before permanent deletion.
Payment Issues
My payment failed. What should I do?
- Check that your card details are correct
- Ensure sufficient funds are available
- Contact your bank if the issue persists
- Update your payment method in the billing portal
You have a 7-day grace period to resolve payment issues before your subscription is paused.
Why was my card declined?
Common reasons:

| Fraud protection triggered | Contact your bank to approve |
How do I update my payment method?
- Go to Settings > Subscription
- Click Manage Subscription
- Select Payment methods
- Add new card or update existing
Will I lose access if my payment fails?
Not immediately. You have a 7-day grace period to update your payment method. During this time:
- Your access continues
- You’ll receive email reminders
- Your status shows as “Past Due”
After 7 days without payment, your access is paused until payment is resolved.
Referrals
How does the referral program work?
Earn free months by referring friends:
- Share your unique referral link
- Friend signs up and subscribes
- You earn 30 days of free service
- Credits are automatically applied

Is there a limit to referral credits?
There’s no hard limit! You can earn as many referral credits as you have successful referrals.
Do referrals affect my beta pricing?
No. Referral credits are in addition to your beta pricing. You get both benefits.
Taxes
Do you charge sales tax?
Tax requirements vary by location. If applicable:
- Tax is calculated automatically at checkout
- Included in your invoice
- Based on your billing address
How is my location determined?
Your tax jurisdiction is determined by:
- The billing address on your payment method
- IP address (as a fallback)
Can I get a tax exemption?
If you’re tax-exempt, contact support@olllo.com with your exemption certificate before subscribing.
Other Questions
Can I have multiple subscriptions?
Each account has one subscription. If you need multiple accounts (e.g., for a team), contact us about team pricing.
Do you offer student/nonprofit discounts?
Currently, we don’t have separate student or nonprofit pricing. All users get the same beta pricing benefits during the beta period.
Is there a lifetime plan?
We don’t currently offer lifetime plans. We believe our subscription model ensures ongoing development and support.
