Data Deletion

Request deletion of specific types of data from your olllo account.

Overview

You can request deletion of specific data types without deleting your entire account. This gives you granular control over what data is removed.

Available Data Types

Accomplishments

Delete specific accomplishments or all accomplishments:

  • Individual accomplishments can be deleted from the accomplishments page
  • Bulk deletion can be requested through account settings

Reflections

Delete specific reflections:

  • Individual reflections can be deleted from the reflections page
  • Note: Deleting reflections may affect goal progress calculations

Goals

Delete specific goals:

  • Goals can be archived or deleted from the goals page
  • Archived goals are removed from the dashboard but preserved in history

Contacts

Delete specific contacts:

  • Contacts can be deleted from the contacts page
  • Note: Deleting contacts may affect accomplishments that reference them

How to Request Data Deletion

Individual Items

Most data can be deleted directly from the relevant pages:

  • Accomplishments: Click the delete icon on any accomplishment
  • Reflections: Use the delete option in reflection settings
  • Goals: Archive or delete from the goal detail page
  • Contacts: Delete from the contacts management page

Bulk Deletion

For bulk deletion requests:

  1. Go to your account settings
  2. Navigate to “Data Management”
  3. Select the data type you want to delete
  4. Review what will be deleted
  5. Confirm your request

Data Deletion Timeline

  • Immediate: Data is removed from active use
  • 7 days: Data is removed from backups
  • 30 days: Data is permanently purged

When you delete data, related information may be affected:

  • Deleting accomplishments: May affect reflection summaries and goal progress
  • Deleting reflections: May affect goal progress calculations
  • Deleting contacts: @-mentions in accomplishments become orphaned
  • Deleting goals: Progress history is preserved but goal is removed

Export Before Deletion

Before deleting data, consider exporting it:

  1. Go to account settings
  2. Navigate to Data Export
  3. Download your data
  4. Save it securely
