Email Preferences
Manage your marketing email preferences to control what communications you receive from olllo.
Overview
olllo sends two types of emails:

Transactional emails - Account-related notifications like password resets, security alerts, and reminders you’ve configured. These cannot be turned off as they’re essential for your account.

Marketing emails - Product updates, tips, news, and announcements. You have full control over these through your email preferences.
Managing Your Preferences
From Within the App
If you have an olllo account:
- Click on your profile avatar in the sidebar footer
- Select “Settings”
- Navigate to “Notifications”
- Scroll to the “Marketing Emails” section
You’ll see toggles for:
- Marketing emails (master toggle) - Turn all marketing emails on or off
- News - Product announcements and company updates
- Tips - Best practices and how-to guides
- Updates - Feature updates and improvements
From Email Links
Every marketing email includes links in the footer to:
- Unsubscribe - One click to stop all marketing emails
- Manage preferences - Access your preference center
Without an Account
If you signed up for our newsletter but don’t have an olllo account, you can still manage your preferences:
- Click “Manage preferences” in any marketing email
- Or visit olllo.ai/preferences and enter your email
- We’ll send you a secure link to access your preference center

Unsubscribing
One-Click Unsubscribe
Every marketing email has an “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom. Clicking it immediately opts you out of all marketing emails - no login required.
Selective Unsubscribe
If you want to receive some types of emails but not others:
- Access your preference center (from app settings or email link)
- Turn off specific categories (News, Tips, or Updates)
- Save your preferences
Re-subscribing
Changed your mind? You can re-enable marketing emails anytime:
- Go to Settings > Notifications in the app
- Or request a new preference link at olllo.ai/preferences
- Turn on the categories you want to receive
Newsletter Signup
Website Signup
When you sign up for our newsletter on the olllo website:
- Enter your email address
- Check your inbox for a confirmation email
- Click the confirmation link to verify your subscription
This double opt-in process ensures you actually want to receive our emails and protects against spam signups.
Account Creation
When you create an olllo account, you’re automatically enrolled in marketing emails. This is clearly disclosed during signup, and you can change your preferences at any time in Settings.
Privacy & Data
What We Track
- Your email preferences (which categories you’ve opted into)
- When you last updated your preferences
- Email delivery status (for troubleshooting)
What We Don’t Do
- We never sell or share your email address
- We don’t track email opens or clicks for marketing purposes
- We don’t send emails to addresses that have bounced or complained
Data Retention
Your preference history is retained for compliance purposes. If you delete your account, your marketing contact record is also deleted.
Troubleshooting
Not Receiving Marketing Emails?
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Verify marketing emails are enabled in Settings > Notifications
- Make sure you’ve confirmed your subscription (check for confirmation email)
- Add
marketing@olllo.aito your contacts
Still Receiving Emails After Unsubscribing?
Email systems can take up to 24 hours to process unsubscribe requests. If you’re still receiving emails after 24 hours:
- Check that you clicked the unsubscribe link (not just closed the email)
- Try unsubscribing again from the latest email
- Contact support if the issue persists
Can’t Access Preference Center?
If the link in your email has expired:
- Visit olllo.ai/preferences
- Enter your email address
- We’ll send a fresh link valid for 30 days
